Simon sings Gilbert and Sullivan roles in various productions and concerts throughout the year including Ko-Ko/THE MIKADO, Major General Stanley/THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE, Sir Joseph Porter/HMS PINAFORE, Bunthorne/PATIENCE, Lord Chancellor/IOLANTHE, The Learned Judge/TRIAL BY JURY; he performs SIMON’S COMEDY SONGBOOK in the UK and abroad and directs, sings and comperes THE BEST OF G&S in concert at Buxton and Malvern.
His television series about G&S, A MOTLEY PAIR, is broadcast on Sky Arts TV. The BBC Radio 4 sitcom TAKING IT UP THE OCTAVE, in which Simon plays James, the neurotic tenor, is broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Extra.
Simon’s Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment commissioned piece will premiere in their 27-28 South Bank Centre season.
